The DLA-9 is designed specifically
for use with a garbage disposal mounted on a single compartment sink, to
be installed on the 1-1/2" disposal drain outlet. |
| Indication |
Reduce clogging and callbacks, reduce dripping and
gurgling noise from airgap faucet, meet plumbing code requirements, and ensure a positive
connection. |
| Recommend |
Install the DLA-9 on newer to moderately old disposals
that are mounted on a single compartment sink. |
| Alternate Use |
The DLA-9 assembly can be used interchangeably with
both the horizontal and vertical DLA-12 configurations. The DLA-D can also be used instead of a DLA-9 if desired. |
|
The DLA-12 is designed for use on all
undersink tubular plumbing made of ABS, PVC, polypropylene, rough or chrome
plated brass or copper, or other approved materials which use 1-1/2" slip joint (SJ)
technology. |
| Indication |
Reduce clogging and callbacks, reduce dripping and
gurgling noise from airgap faucet (especially by using the horizontal configuration of the
DLA-12), meet plumbing code requirements, and ensure a positive connection. |
| Recommend |
Install the DLA-12 on the 1-1/2" drain lines of
all single compartment sinks without a disposal, or multi-compartment sinks with or
without a disposal. |
| Alternate Use |
The DLA-D can be used instead of a
DLA-12, especially when the trap arm has been roughed-in too high and there is
insufficient room to install a DLA-12. The DLA-9 can also be
used instead of a DLA-12. |
|
The DLA-D is designed specifically for
use with a garbage disposal, to be mounted on the disposal nipple provided for
dishwasher drains. A venturi, which produces a self-cleaning
suction, is created when installed in combination with a dishwasher drain. |
| Indication |
Reduce clogging and callbacks, reduce dripping and
gurgling noise from airgap faucet, meet plumbing code requirements, and ensure a positive
connection. |
| Recommend |
Install the DLA-D on all garbage disposals. The universal
DLA-D will accept any size dishwasher drain hose and is convertible for
installation in the absence of a dishwasher drain. The DLA-D may be installed on a
branch tailpiece receiving a 3/4" or 7/8" dishwasher drain hose. |
| Alternate Use |
The DLA-9 can be used instead of
the DLA-D |
|
The DLA-G is designed
specifically to connect flexible tubing to the airgap. Use on all material Schedule-40 standpipes (requires a no-hub coupling
when used with unthreaded galvanized or no-hub cast iron pipe). |
| Indication |
Eliminate splash, spray and mist, provide two vertical
inches of airgap, meet plumbing code requirements, and ensure a positive connection. |
| Recommend |
Install the DLA-G on all standpipes which must have an
airgap to prevent cross connection of house drain with reject water from an RO, or
backwash from a softener conducted through the drain tubing of 5/8" OD or 1/2"
ID or smaller. The DLA-G can be configured to work in tandem with a washing machine
standpipe drain or RO/softener combination. See inlet sizes and connections
available. |
|
|
The DLA-G15 is designed specifically to connect a variety of rigid Schedule-40 pipe materials to the airgap. Use on ABS or PVC standpipes (requires ABS to PVC transition cement when installing on PVC pipe).
|
|
Indication
|
Eliminate splash, spray and mist, provide two vertical inches of airgap, meet plumbing code requirements, and ensure a positive connection.
|
|
Recommend
|
Install the DLA-G15 on ABS or PVC standpipes, which must have an airgap to prevent cross connection of main drain with reject water from an RO, backwash from a softener or drain water from a condensate line. Install onto an 1 1/2” standpipe, or into a 2” fitting / hub using a appropriately sized MIPT inlet fitting adapter.
|
|
|
The DLA-G20 is designed specifically to connect a variety of rigid Schedule-40 pipe materials to the airgap. Use on ABS or PVC standpipes (requires ABS to PVC transition cement when installing on PVC pipe).
|
|
Indication
|
Eliminate splash, spray and mist, provide two vertical inches of airgap, meet plumbing code requirements, and ensure a positive connection.
|
|
Recommend
|
Install the DLA-G20 on ABS or PVC standpipes, which must have an airgap to prevent cross connection of main drain with reject water from an RO, backwash from a softener or drain water from a condensate line. Install onto a 2” standpipe, using a 1” MIPT inlet fitting adapter.

|
The DLA-TAG twin inlet dishwasher airgap is designed specifically to connect any combination of dishwasher, RO, softener or double-drawer dishwasher drains to a single countertop dishwasher airgap device.
|
|
Indication
|
Eliminate the need to install two countertop dishwasher airgaps for contemporary double-drawer dishwashers requiring two airgaps to the drain. Reduce noisy drains and eliminate clogging issues.
Accommodate high flow rates from high output RO membranes without using an airgap faucet. |
|
Recommend
|
Install the DLA-TAG by replacing an existing conventional single inlet dishwasher airgap, or install as new. Use twin inlets configured as desired, or install using only a single inlet. PVC 1/2” plugs and vinyl end caps are available to seal off any unused ports. A variety of MIPT inlet adapter sizes are available for various applications as well as metallic and solid color decorative cap finishes to match most kitchen decors. Bright chrome decorative caps come standard with each TAG along with either a 1/4” push-in or 5/8” barb insert adapter.
